Go to venues, watch a show, hit up the bands when there done and tell them your an artist who needs to make a few bucks. Bands need fliers, album art, myspace banners and all that great stuff.

In a band, image is everything, and if your art's the shit--they'll pay your for it :)

Plus, in a way, it gets your name out.
